As of right now, teachers are being pressured to take a leave of absence, because during a pandemic they are being forced to choose between their job and their safety. Many members of the New Trier community believe this is unfair, and needs to be changed. Right now there are only two students on the Re-Opening NT Asvisory Board, and minimal regard for teachers, and we need to change that.
Currently, there are many people trying to convince the board of education to re-open the school to 50% capacity. Many students and teachers feel unsafe with that, and we are finally making our voices heard. Parents and members of the New Trier community, we need your help.
